Obedience Focus for Cobra
The main focus will still be on agility, but now she will also train a bit more obedience and because I don't like to do things halfway, she will now be a participant in the foundation skills course starting 20 February.

There are a total of 96 tasks spread across 23 topics and 4 bonus tasks, and participants will also get to see quite a lot of Cobra and follow her on her journey towards becoming competition-ready in obedience as well.
All tasks in the course are presented in both film and text, and all tasks are available from the start.\
The Foundation Skills course is suitable for anyone who wants to learn foundation skills for obedience, working dog sports, rally or IPO using proper clicker training.
Here is a small selection of the course's tasks.

We're also preparing for a little nerd journey in heelwork off-lead, and the course starts on 27 March.
[Heelwork off-lead – online](http://canishundeskole.no/kurs/fri-ved-fot-online/) is the course for you if you want to train heelwork off-lead, whether it's teaching a puppy, adolescent dog or adult dog, or perfecting the details with a dog that is already competing. Feedback is individual and we work at your level.\
We focus on details, build small sequences and work on putting all the elements together into a complete exercise.
It's a wonderful feeling to walk heelwork off-lead where you can just trust that your dog is there, moving with you no matter what you do. It's much easier to walk good heelwork off-lead when you know that your dog loves it too and won't leave your side no matter what happens. We just flow forward together, as a team, in our own little bubble that no one else gets to enter, it's just us two that exist there.\
In addition to the "heelwork off-lead" exercise itself, heelwork also appears in many of the other exercises and I use it in the transitions between exercises as well, so good heelwork off-lead has great importance for the rest of the programme and for the overall impression the judge gets.
I've learned to walk heelwork off-lead with Bonus, and she's had to put up with a lot of awkwardness from my side before I learned how I should move to make it clear and easy for Bonus to stay with me. Now I don't use any commands in heelwork, because Bonus and I have an agreement that she should just stay with me no matter what I'm doing, and besides, I don't want to nag at her; she gets to walk with me if she wants to. The agreement is also that when she's walking with me and moving together, we have an absolute blast afterwards, and if there's anything she loves, it's play party! Of course we didn't start there, but we've worked our way to it gradually, and this course contains all the topics we've worked with and how we've come as far as we have.
Facts about my online courses:\
Lessons are published as text, images and film.\
You can watch the lessons whenever you like, train when it suits you and send in the films you want feedback on. You get help with exactly what you need without being tied to specific times and places.
From the start date, all topics will be available straight away, so the course is adapted to everyone.\
The course runs for a full 3 months, so there's plenty of time to work through all the lessons.
The topics are arranged in prioritised order, the way I would start working with them (even though you often work on several tasks at the same time, many overlap and some you work with all the time), but you're free to work through the lessons in the order you choose.
Lessons are published as text, images and film.
As a participant on an online course you get access to lessons, can send in films and receive feedback.\
As an observer on an online course you also get access to the lessons and can ask unlimited questions about the lessons, but you won't receive feedback on questions about your own training since it's difficult to give feedback on something you haven't seen.
