My name is Karin Beate Lyng and I run the Canis Hundeskole branch in Stavanger. Here I work as general manager, instructor and behaviour consultant.
I am a qualified primary school teacher from UiS, in addition to several instructor qualifications and a behaviour consultant qualification from NMBU, and am one of the few in Norway certified as a behaviour consultant by the Norwegian Behaviour Group for Companion Animals (NAS). In 2005–07 I completed my first instructor qualification with specialisation in problem behaviour, and have worked as an instructor using positive methods since then.
With my own dog, I actively train in Competitive Obedience, Spesialsøk and Working Trials. I have competed in obedience and tracking.
