In this weekend course, you and your dog will get an introduction to the canine sport specialised search (NSO). The course is tailored for beginners and those who have done some red kong searching previously. The course will give you a solid foundation for further training towards competition.
During the course, your dog will learn to search for the scent of red kong (classic), whilst you as handler will gain tools for how you can set up effective and motivating training going forward.
Specialised search is a fun and challenging sport where cooperation between dog and handler is in focus – and where you work together as a team to master competition exercises.
The course includes both theory and plenty of practical training.

Fundamental knowledge of the specialised search (NSO) competition format
Search development in different environments
Reward development in search work
Reading your dog during search
Practical searches on platform, search walls, objects and room search
Functional obedience
Marker training
