By day I work in HR and payroll, but much of my free time is devoted to dog training. I have two dogs: a 3-year-old Working springer spaniel bitch (Lucy), and an 8.5-year-old flatcoated retriever (Santo). Today I compete actively in both Spesialsøk Elite and competitive obedience with Lucy. Previously, I have experience with bloodtracking, tracking and retriever hunting with my flatcoated retriever.
I completed my clicker instructor training through Canis in 2018, and have since completed handler training at Blåfjell Hundesenter, as well as Spesialsøk Elite levels 1 and 2 at the same centre. In autumn 2025 I was approved as a judge in Norsk spesialsøksorganisasjon, and completed the instructor training in spring 2026.
I run courses in Spesialsøk Elite, competitive obedience, everyday obedience and puppy classes.
As an instructor, my aim is to spread knowledge about reward-based training and clicker training, and to help dog owners build a strong relationship with their dog – so that they can bring out the best in their dog and achieve their goals through positive training methods.
