Over the last 10 years, the course has been run as a 100% online education and we have had participants from Norway, Sweden, Denmark, Finland and Iceland on the course.
Here we've collected a small selection of feedback from previous course participants that you can read if you're curious about the course and considering joining this autumn or later – as an observer or participant!

The Canis clicker instructor course is the most demanding, and at the same time the most educational, structured and well quality-assured course I have ever taken. Recommended for everyone who wants to learn more about the theoretical foundation for reward-based training, and is ready for a challenging and exciting journey into the theory and practical application of behaviour analysis. *Karen Maria Thaule-Pedersen*

The gundog environment has been and largely continues to be characterised by traditional ways of training dogs. It is a world of myths where there aren't always logical explanations for the methods we use. The clicker instructor course is built on a solid professional foundation and has lifted the veil on many of the unanswered questions I've carried with me, even as an authorised gundog instructor. The course gives you answers to WHY behaviours arise, HOW they can be influenced and allows you as a participant to develop the MECHANICAL SKILLS required to carry out the training in practice. *Tor Danielsen*

I'm 'fresh' in the dog training and dog instructor field, and was initially unsure whether this course would be too demanding. It is absolutely demanding, but solely in a positive way. I've learnt a lot about dogs, a lot about behaviour and a lot about myself. Highly recommended – for both those with extensive and limited experience. *Siw Lyséll*

An instructor course where the training skills of the handler and dog team are the focus. Since it's an online course, you can participate no matter where you live. The course is recommended for you if you either want to become an even more skilled trainer or if you dream of working with people and their dogs! I can really recommend the course! *Elisabeth Francesca*

This e-learning has a completely different dimension than other similar courses I have participated in. *Pernilla Swahnström*

Participating in the instructor course was the best thing I've done for myself and my dog. I've learnt so much, and the learning is beginning to take root in my brain and heart – behaviour analysis and all the different terms – so I can use it in practice. Thousand thanks for that! *Elsa Blom*

If you love training dogs and want to deepen your knowledge and understanding, then the Canis instructor course is a 'treasure chest' for you! *Helen Persson*

Would definitely recommend this course! You learn incredibly much and develop rapidly in a short time, both as an instructor and dog trainer. Exciting topics with great teachers who really know clicker training! *Monika*

Following the Clicker Instructor training at Canis has been a decisive breakthrough in my understanding of the value of dog training and how I as a person can contribute to increasing the quality and benefit for myself, my dog and those who will later be taught by me. You become totally engaged and completely thrilled about participating with your dog. Clicker-wise.

For me, the course has so far been a journey into a world full of wonderful and amazing possibilities. I've learnt a lot about dog training and the clicker method; but I've also learnt approaches to helping others that I can use in my work as a coach and communications consultant. The Canis method is a concrete implementation of behaviour analysis into a method that can be used to develop new behaviour in both animals and people.

As a participant, I feel truly seen, heard and understood by the lead instructor, and the webinars themselves are both educational and engaging, despite us all being scattered throughout Scandinavia – it's in itself impressive that the lead instructor reaches so far beyond the stage. So if you want to participate in a course where you bring yourself fully into play, learn masses about dog training and instruction of handlers, and where you get a Scandinavian network within the dog training world – then enrol on the Canis instructor course. It's the coolest journey. *Mette Steenfeldt*

I would recommend the instructor course to Canis both to those who want to become instructors and to those who want to develop themselves as a dog trainer. By using the benchmarking system that Morten and Cecilie have developed, we learn to become good

Vitenskapelig hundetrening?
Jeg tror tiden har kommet for å avkrefte en myte, og det kommer muligens til å gjøre litt vondt for mange. Det gjør ofte vondt å skifte oppfatning om noe, men det går over og man kommer som regel klokere ut av det.
