History lesson with B. F. Skinner

I considered writing in the headline that the film is for those with a special interest (since for most people, unfortunately, it's more reinforcing to watch funny cat videos on YouTube), but strictly speaking, this is knowledge everyone should have. What could be more important than understanding the principles of how humans learn and function?

You may already know that clicker training is based on behaviourist analytical principles. But the fact is that ALL forms of dog training can be analysed using the same principles (even if the trainer uses different words themselves). The principles that Skinner formulated are equally valid for all behaviour – in both animals and humans – in the same way that gravity always applies to all objects.

Skinner's research has had enormous influence – but is also very misunderstood. Getting better acquainted with the man behind it can be a good starting point. Grab your coffee cup and enjoy this!
