We have now set up two puppy classes in September at Canis Harstad, and you have received this email because you have expressed interest in a puppy class with us. This time we are offering two different puppy classes tailored to your puppy's age and developmental stage. You can therefore choose the course that best suits your puppy. Sign up here if your puppy is between 6–8 months old.
We work with, amongst other things:
- engagement when exciting things happen around your dog
- recall with distractions
- passing other dogs and people
- loose lead walking and cooperation on walks
- calmness and good choices in everyday life and preparation for the adolescent period
- everyday obedience
Practical course sessions: 14 September 17.30–19.00. 16 September 17.30–19.00. 22 September 17.30–19.00. 24 September 17.30–19.00. 26 September 15.00
📚 Joint theory session Both courses start with a joint theory session without your puppy on Sunday 13 September 17.00–19.30.
Here we discuss, amongst other things, your puppy's development and learning, socialisation, activity and rest, rewards, common challenges and how we can create the right conditions for good learning.
The age grouping is a guideline, because puppies develop at different rates. The puppy class is held in heated indoor facilities and outdoors.
