The puppy and young dog course is developed for you who wants to build a safe, positive and good cooperation with your dog from day one. The course is suitable for both first-time owners and those who want a good start with a new puppy or young dog.
We train in small groups, which provides good individual follow-up and a safe learning environment for both dog and handler. Theory and practical training are woven throughout the course, so you learn why the exercises are important whilst gaining practical experience with your dog.
This provides a better understanding and makes it easier to continue training at home. Throughout the course we work with, amongst others:
Socialisation and environment training Contact and cooperation Walking nicely on the lead Recall, passing, Sit, Good routines and prevention of unwanted behaviours.
The aim is to give you the tools you need to develop a confident, cooperative and well-functioning family dog.
Course dates
Monday 31 August, Wednesday 2 September, Monday 7 September and Wednesday 9 September.
The course runs from 17:00 to 18:30 on all days.
The course consists of 6 hours, spread over four sessions with a combination of theory and practical training.
