Instructor: Ulla Pedersen·Start date: 10. september 2026

In sport tracking, we work with treats on the track and much of the training involves getting them off again in a controlled way and using them in the right places in relation to turns and angles. Voluntary behaviour and positive reinforcement are key concepts in sport tracking too.

Of course, you'll be working with your own dog and the challenges you face, but you're also very welcome to follow other handlers' tracks to be inspired by their training. We'll work with wind, ground area, time, deep searching, pace, rewards, possible alien tracks, turns and angles, as well as optimising articles. You won't cover the whole course, but we'll train on exactly what you need to move forward.

We base everything on each individual dog's skills and level, so even if you're not very far along, you're welcome to join — though I'd recommend your dog can move forward on the track so you get the most out of it. We meet 2 × 3 hours with time in between for you to train before we meet again.

There are spaces for 4 on the team with their dogs, and the course runs with a minimum of 2 participants.
