Frøydis Oldervoll

Frøydis Oldervoll is an instructor at Canis Hundeskole Sandvika, where she runs courses in specialist search, everyday obedience and foundation skills with clicker training. She became a Canis instructor in 2023 after completing the one-year clicker instructor training programme. Frøydis also holds an accredited instructor qualification from NSO (Norwegian Specialist Search Organisation) and has undertaken various other courses in search, rally obedience and handling training. In her day job, she works as a section leader — a background that shapes how she structures and leads her courses. At home, she has two Portuguese Water Dogs, Bilbo (9 years old) and Munti (6 years old), who in practice serve as permanent test pilots for the methods she uses in her teaching.
