Frøydis Oldervoll

Frøydis Oldervoll is an instructor at Canis Hundeskole Sandvika, where she delivers courses in search and rescue, everyday obedience and foundation skills using clicker training. She became a Canis instructor in 2023 after completing the one-year clicker instructor training programme. Frøydis also holds an approved instructor qualification from NSO (Norsk Spesialsøksorganisasjon) and has undertaken various other courses in search and rescue, rally obedience and handling skills. In her day job, she works as a section manager — a background that shapes how she structures and leads her courses. At home, she has two Portuguese Water Dogs, Bilbo (9 years old) and Munti (6 years old), who in practice serve as regular test pilots for the methods she uses in her teaching.
