My name is Beathe Pilskog, and I run the Canis Sunnmøre branch.
In addition to my 2-year instructor training at Canis, I have a strong interest in animal behaviour and have completed education in behaviour at NMBU, and am a qualified behaviour consultant through NAS. The training comprises 6 modules covering ethology and anthrozoology, learning theory, animal welfare and legislation, neuropsychology and psychopharmacology, behaviour consultations and behavioural problems in dogs and cats.
I am also an instructor with the Norwegian Red Cross's Visiting Friend with Dog programme, and I have 2 certified visiting dogs that I actively use.
I have completed several courses in obedience training, tracking, working trials, rally obedience, canine science, genetics and breeding. I also hold the Norwegian Kennel Club's breeder school parts 1 and 2. I am an instructor with the Norwegian Red Cross's Visiting Friend with Dog programme, and I have 2 certified visiting dogs that I actively use.
I breed Eurasiers and Nova Scotia Duck Tolling Retrievers, and also have breeding activity under the kennel name Carve Canem.
