Clicker training a horse: clipping
Many horses need to be sedated before clipping because they're afraid of the clippers, but with good training, clipping can become a really pleasant session for the horse.

All the simple exercises we've shown so far are things that any horse owner can do – regardless of how you train your horse when riding. Even if you train your horse in a "traditional" manner from the saddle, it's very beneficial for your relationship with your horse to do as much as you can with positive reinforcement when you spend time with it in the stable.
By the way, we've had some questions about what kind of treats we use for the horse. We typically use carrots, apples or dry bread, cut into appropriately small pieces.
